What a day for celebrating the Christmas Spirit in Lee County! The morning started off with a little fog but shortly after the parade stepped off the sun began peeking its way out of the clouds!
It was one of the largest crowds that had ever lined up for the 29th Annual Spirit of Christmas Parade and the 8th annual “Spirit of Christmas Festival” which followed. There were 100+ parade applicants with over 150 showing up to pass in review. 45+ vendors lined Starksville Avenue creating a festive spirit. Families enjoyed great food, entertainment, games, rides, and visit with Pete the Cat! There was something for everyone…young and old!
